I have a 2006 GP that the air bag light has started coming on occasionally. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Have it scanned and find out what the code is. Post it here and we can offer suggestions. You will probably need someone w/ a TechII or the like to read the SRS code.

It wont deploy, it may just not work if you got in a crash.

Have you lost the cruise control or any of the control functions on the steering wheel? If you have it could be the clock spring that has gone bad.
