have a 2005 grand prix. The issue is first thing in the morning the car starts up. Now say I'll would go to the store, come back out to starts up but half way through the start the car won't start, like it's not getting fuel. But if I step on the gas mid start the car stays started but runs like crap for a minute. I tuned up the car new spark plugs and wire. I just dont know what's going on. Thinking bout changing the egr valve. Can anyone help me.

Thats funny because I am having the same intermittent problem with my 02' GT. I've only had the car two weeks and when I bought it the seller told me of the issue. On a cold start it starts and runs perfect. If I drive it around to operating temp and shut it off, when I go to restart, it bogs a little and shuts off. If I give it a little gas it will stay running and then runs fine. It only happens sometimes and there are no check engine lights on at all and once the car is running it runs fine. I just have to feather the gas pedal every so often. I'm not used to these newer cars so I'm baffled. It's just funny that you seem to be having close to the same issue. Hopefully we can both learn something from someone else here on the board.

Try cleaning your throttle body and MAF sensor with the correct cleaners.

By the way, can you use the same MAF Cleaner to also clean the throttle body or is it two different items? Thanks.
