So I bought my car a few months ago...when I bought it I had him put it on the lift..I checked everything. Even poked at the traction bar mounts...which seemed to be solid. A week or so ago...I hear a thumping...took me a little while to figure it out because the bondo hid it so well...couldnt believe it.

The shop had bondo'd the car and sold it as is. HAHA Sucks to be him. Talked to the attorney general....got his inspection numbers off his building...and told him either pay for the entire car in cash and I keep it...or I will take him to court for placing my kids at risk with this. Well, he is paying for the cost of the vehicle (2k) And because of the attitude I got from him he is still being turned into the DMV and attorney general so no one else dies because of this terrible shop.

If anyone lives in Allegany County NY contact me so you dont go to the shop.

So Not a single shop here would touch my car, not even performance shops or anything. Even the body shop said hell no. So instead....

I love my car...I dunno what it is about it...I want to keep it reguardless of what people say. I found out I can place a rear axle under the car...and go to a four link suspension. I dont care how rough of a ride it is....LOL.

Anyone else have any idea's before I put a solid rear end on the car?

I also have the option while im in the middle of this...to put a 4.3 v8 with 50k miles...stroker kit and all....in it...was thinking about making it rear wheel drive LOL Would be so awesome.

    Any suggestions?

Want to hear some opinions as to what I should do

I will also be using a plasma torch and cutting that entire side of the car off a donor car at a local junk yard and replacing it..would rather have a 4 link anyway as I plan on going to local track days.

    Thanks everyone!!!

If you decided to rwd convert it I wouldn't bother with a 4.3 v8 they are pretty worthless.

Also the only 4.3 thats worth anything is the v6.

but seriously, why bother? get rid of it before you spend wayyyy to much money

You'll need a donor car and a lot determination...probably still won't be safe.
