Hello All, I have an interesting one!! I have read many forums but have NOT found any related to this issue.
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP...overheating/electrical problem.... Starts and runs fine at normal temp until it reaches 210... Cooling Fans come on, killing or stalling my engine (depending on running speed)... Turning AC without having to reach 210 in temperature will definitely kill my engine...dashboard gauges and heads-up display go crazy and my center display goes into a blinking 0.0 in all selections, it also disengages my TCS... Once temperature decreases, everything goes back to normal until same cycle occurs...Fuses, Relays and Cooling Fans seem to be ok..... I have recently replaced CrankShaft and Camshaft Position Sensor, as well as TPS, MAP and IAT sensors, as well as Sparkplus and MSD cables. Strangely, my OBDII scanner does NOT find any Trouble Codes and My Check Engine Light does NOT come on (only as soon as i turn the ignition switch which means my PCM should be fine)..... I did have P1361 and p1362 recentely but replaced my ICM w Coils and those P codes have NOT come back, but the problem still persists. My fuel system is fine. Seems there's an overload/short somewhere. I was thinking of replacing my Temp Sensor just to see if it will fix the issue but im not sure. Help Please!!! Thank you!
