Hi im new, been doing alot of browsing around on the forums.
Got most of my cars issues fixed thanks to most of you.
so S/O to everybody tht did what i did and turned to the forums.

Picked up a new set of 5 spoked grand prix wheels the other day,
got tired of rolling around on the hub-cap versions.
Also picked up a set of blacked out tail-lights pretty cheap.
Only paid $240 for 4 damn new tires and wheels and the lights.

Couldnt beat that. Theres a guy like 58 miles out of Waterloo,IA
who parts out junked Grand Prixs, thought I'd help him out a little.
Makes my car look ALOT better. haha.

This coming weekend I'm hoping to start on patching up my rear
strut towers. They have rusted through. It gives it a nice stance,
but makes for terrible handling. Anybody else had to do this before?
Just curious because i need to figure out the dimensions on top of the towers.
Any help is gladly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've yet to see that but i'm not surprised that it did happen. I'm sure if you have the time and patience you can get something to work out on those strut towers.

    Good Luck!

believe me, I'v never seen anything like it either.
when i got it i just thought my struts were bad,
until i pulled out the trunk carpeting and realized
i could grab my struts from inside the trunk.

it got rearended awhile back and they did what they could
to make it look better on the outside, didnt bother making sure
it was all sealed up i guess, and it slowly but surely started to rust away
and finally gave way. its still holding on, for now.

im hoping this coming saturday i can get it patched up.
im sure once i start that ill have pics up of how bad it is (was).

lol i did, this one has the right side goin out
but luckily the guy fabricated a brace to hold it in place, once i get the money im going to have it welded so i can take the brace out.
fixing one side is deff cheaper then both sides.
hopefully by next saturday ill have it done.
