When we bought the GTP a few weeks ago, I noticed that sometimes the DIC would get dim on the boost gauge side of it. A quick tap on top of the dash solved the problem for a while, but recently it has almost completely quit working. I assume a bad connection someplace, or a bad bulb. That is if the DIC even uses bulbs? Can anyone shed some light on this, (pun intended) It would really brighten my day, My face kinda lights up, when I see the boost gauge pegged. Ok enough with the bad puns.

Seriously though, I would like to fix it, and don't know even how to open it up to get at it.

    Thanks in Advance.

The bulbs are replaceable. Same bulb type used in the gauge cluster. It's been too long since i've had mine apart though so I can't tell you how to get it apart to replace the bulb.

Thank You guys for the info. At least I know it is just standard Bulbs. I assume I just pry the panel around the DIC forward to gain access. That will be my mid week evening project.
Then on to the front brakes, rear trailing arm and finally that damn fuel filter. (shop could not , would not remove it, as they said it was seized on so hard that they were risking damaging the fuel line.
I think the car is leaning out in the high rpms due to it. So I have to get that done quickly.
