Hi guys, Iv'e got a big problem and am hoping for some help. I recently replaced an engine in my 98 grand prix 3.8 SE and screwed up. When reattaching the ignition module mounting bracket, I pinched the wiring harness behind it damaging the wiring. When I hooked up the engine wiring harness ,I hooked up the battery and had an immediate meltdown of the red wire with the black tracer that powers the ignition module. It shorted ot where it was pinched and burnt up causing damage to the main harness. After I freed up the pinched wire ,I repaired the wire and checked for other damaged ones. I tried to start it but now I get no fuel pressure. I know I'm going to be shopping for a wiring harness but my question is did the main engine controller computer get destroyed when the wires shorted out? Any suggestions and help would be appreciated, I don't have electrical knowledge ,I'm basicly just a parts changer. I die check fuses and none blew.
THANKS!
