hey everyone i have a 97 4 door se with the 3800. problem is, the car is so rusted out its no longer safe to drive. i have an opportunity to buy a rust-free 97 2 door GT rolling chassis for $300. I would need to swap in the motor, trans, exhaust, ( i plan on dropping the entire K-Member and leaving everything intact), seats, windshield, front bumper cover, dash, gauge cluster. my question is will all of this from a 97 4 door SE fit in a 97 2 door GT? both vehicles have the 3800 seies II motor so it should work with no problems, right? thanks in advance!

oh yeah i plan on putting my like-new SE suspension and brakes on the GT as well. will that work? wheels and tires are 5-spokes from a 2002 grand prix. I have a ton on new/like new parts on the SE that i want to put on the GT

    Do it. You'll be fine.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

The seats will not slide all the way forward like ones in a 2 door will, the rest of it should all work fine I would imagine.
