prob #1 - after getting my transmission flushed for the 80,000 km (as per the GM recommendation) about 500km ago, once the car is running for at least 30min and is warmed up nicely, the transmission hesitates slightly when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, and seems to jumped forward a bit when it hits the gear. Is the transmission flushing a cause of this or is it something else?

prob #2 - unrelated, i have noticed a slight wiggle with the rear end when going over small bumps at speeds between 60km/h and 120 km/h (35mph - 75 mph). What can I check to see whats going on there?

    Thanks

2003 Grand Prix GT 4 door - 90,000 km (56,000 miles) all stock.

Trans flushes are known to cause problems. It is more then likely that this is what happened. With the rear, do the bounce test and check the struts/ mounts. It made my car feel like it was swaying while going down a dirt road.

Trans flushes don't cause problems, ignorance does. Was the filter replaced at the time the flush was done? It should be. As well the friction material from the clutches that was in the fluid is no longer there in the new fluid. The trans may need a little time to relearn adaptive shifts to combat the issues you now feel. It may also help if you added a bottle of Lucas trans stop slip.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Update: thanks to everyone who replied with help.

Prob #1 transmission hesitation - needed two transmission lines, now shifts smoothly

prob #2 rear wiggle - My car needed both rear struts and a link kit as it was all original and done for.

$800 dollars later and it drives like new.

    Thanks

So your saying that when they suck all the fluid out via a vaccume through the filler tube, that it dose not cause problems? I've heard way different
