So far what I'm reading is on a 04+ a 3.6 on an 04 would be like a 3.4 on a 97-03 if that's true would I in fact still need the supporting mods on my 3.6 as the 3.4 97-03? Thanks for any input fellas. As of now I'm bone stock just want to make sure I'm smack dab on the basics.

That'll make a decent setup. On my car to safely run a 3.4 i had to add rockers too. I'm sure I could pick up a lot of power if I had a real tune but that's not in the budget right now.
