put my HIDs in, wired them so jacked up that my car acts possesed. and found out in doing so that my projectors are ****
You get the plug and play kit?
Fixed my new Tails - had missing piece and a crack, thats why i got on sale
and now just have to blue them up - get rid of black
nothing drove, it to work n back, checked trans fluid, oil level and coolant. Guess im used to the 97 having issues
Turn key.. drive... that's about all I do to this baby.
My mom's GT spun a bearing =( Its a shame only has 170,000km and not a spec of rust. But with money the way it is, we can't afford to replace the motor and hope for the best. Were looking at the Cruze, Fusion and Chrysler 200. We can get a fully loaded LT Cruze for 21k only option it doesn't have is leather.
how can you not afford a used engine, but a another car that cost 21k is? i dont get that logic at all.
whos paying 2 grand for a engine, even installed, wake up mang.
EDIT: and who in their right mind does a 8 year loan????? interest alone would kill you, and make the car not worth buying.

Nothing stupid cleanup days before winter break... ah well may be able to pick some stuff up for it over winter if there's any decent days
I'd pay that much for a lambo engine lol
I payed $750 for my used motor, another $600 to have in dropped in (paid the tech at work to do it, could have saved money but no cherry-picker or time) and +/-$300 for all the gaskets, coolant, oil to make sure it was in tip top shape, plus a tranny service... came out to about $2000 once said and done, but again... I did it at work, so I payed a little more than I could have but got it done quickly so I was back in the car in a couple days.
^^^I did it for $800 for a used L67 then maybe another $100 for the gaskets, oil etc. Did all the work myself. Took a few days. Far cheaper than buying a new car. I would know...
My mom works for RBC. Its the number 1 bank in Canada and they have a deal with GM. Its an 8 year loan but its an open loan. No interest, and you can get out whenever you want. Its not locked in. And not everyone has the luxury of being able to afford a car on anything less than a 7 year loan. My moms a single mother and works for a Bank. They don't get payed much. She needs something new with a warranty. With the Deals she can get from Ford, GM, and Chrysler its cheaper to buy a new car than a used car.
E=scottydoggs;933761]well i must say, i wish we had loans like that. we get killed here in the states.
but just the down payment for a new car could pay for a used engine installed.
but i hear ya , new car, warranty, low payment, and no interest loan. so whens the part out lol[/QUOTE]
Thats best part no down payment either =p No part out gonna drive it till blows and best the living piss out of it. Than there is a company you can donate the car to and you get a tax receipt for 1000$.
I live in Canada, Ive never heard of a company that gives tax receipt for cars.
Who???
ANd engines are pretty cheap, 3.8 S/C $400 - then stupid puter and wiring - $700.00
Otherwise i would consider a swap, and a mechanic friend will swap an engine for $400 for me, i do wiring and puter.
... what took you so long Danielle? Did you have to source a maf from a non-Smut source?
