All I have left to do is rebuild the engine or get a new one. Gonna give the transmission I pull to auto to clean up while i'm working on my car

I have to pull it from the scrap yard. Our Nordstrom ewe-pullet facility is a self service facility

I could get one already done from their employee side but it'll cost me like 300. I can pull one by myself for 98. Basically this farm has two facilities one for vehicle owners to pull their own parts and one where they have their mechanics strip the entire cars and sell each part marked up

Got the tranny oil and filter changed after 80K Km's. Shop did not do a flush because the oil still looked pretty good.

Drove it to work and to my meeting. Got in it to go home after meeting (10 pm), get a block down the road and boyfriend calls. "Did you forget to turn your headlights on?" Me...no? the switch is on. So I pull into a parking lot and flip my brights to make sure they are off....nada. Only form of light I have is from the fogs.
And of course, I don't have a tool set in the car yet so we couldn't take anything out to find the fuse.

So I got it home without being pulled over. It was hard as hell to see anything out in the country with just fog lights.
Tomorrow Lee is going to tear into and see what happened.

well after cleaning every yellow plug under the dash the seat, i had it scanned, it came back as a code for open driver side loop, likely problem the clock spring. but before i could fix the clock spring, i parked my car in a flood zone and it had water up to the seats.

so i eventually changed the clock spring and my radio controls came back to life but the air bag light stayed on. so the next step was the air bag module under the pass side seat, and under the rug. and bingo! that fixed it.

i was always pretty sure my clock spring was the original culprit, but getting flooded killed the module i think.

My radio controls have always worked fine. I think it's time rip up the carpet and look at the module connections
