Took the Grand Prix emblem off of the trunk and put on a "supercharged" decal.
Went to the junkyard and pulled a homelink out of a BMW. Cost me 18 cents lol. Installed it where the ash tray used to be and programmed it. Will post pics tomorrow.
I have had me 04 GTP for a little over 3 weeks now but haven't been driving it because the forward band is out of the trans. Been looking for a donor trans to rebuild. Today I had it running and noticed coolant leaking/spraying all over the coolant reservoir. Well, that notorious plastic coolant elbow had all but disintegrated. Shut it down and looked in the shop and wouldn't ya know it....had a set of replacement elbows on the shelf(is it obvious I do alot of these). Slapped in the new elbows and topped of the coolant. Was going through the glove box and found the original window sticker. Always love finding these gems. This particular find was even more rewarding as I noticed in the options list that my GTP is Actually a GTP Comp G. Grabbed the owners manual and the Comp G trunk label fell out of the owners manual sleeve. Can't wait to get the transmission rebuild done so I can put some road miles on it. Stay tuned............
the thing is Dan, the sawsall we borrowed from Josh's neighbour had a crappy blade, i smoothed the blade trying to cut the bolt off... SUCKED lol
I did this
rolled 127K on the way to work,
Mileage mod... rolled 206 this morning.
I drive mine to the hospital to see my son being born.
Me, I installed the factory radio I bought from Ebay. It works great. I'm happy to have some tunes finally!
Got the ole' service abs/traction warning. Wonder which wheel hub it is this time.

I rescued a cute girl with it.
I installed the super awesome "oversized" rad.
1.25" core.
One detail I never found anywhere:
Trans cooler fittings will not work, have to go external cooler.
Also installed ZZP AC delete: which turns out is just an AC delete for an 80's 2.8L V6 with a bunch of bolts and crap that are useless.
