I hate getting calls from people I sold stuff too.

Last year I sold a transmission for a 3000GT/Stealth to a guy about 1.5 - 2 hours from me. I had no idea of the condtion of the trans because I never got to drive the car it came out of. 2 weeks after I sold it to him my phone rings and its him.

My first thought was "aw SH!T."

I reluctantly answered the phone, and he reminded me who he was, and said "First off the trans is awesome. I can't beleive how smooth it shifts. Second, would you want to do a timing belt for me?"

Talk about a sigh of relief. Not only did I make $400 on a transmission, but I made $200 on a timing belt job. LOL

    got to love that^^^^^

yeah i really just wanted it to go to voice mail, but at the 3 rd ring i picked it up. this guy was excited too, after all he just drove a truck thats been sitting for 2 years solid, with no paper work at all, for 5 hours. and made home, problem free.

Got it inspected and passed and plated! And Danielle I'm off work tomorrow for the first time in like a week so I'm hopefully going to wash it and post pics. I'm planning on seafoaming, washing, maybe waxing, maybe cleaning the tb, cleaning out the inside, stuff like that.

And scotty you don't have to get a whole new clicker you should just be able to get a new insert for like $5. That's what I did on my old one.

did the new case and pad last year, it worked and then slowly took a dump. the new pads inside were so damn small too, think i got f'ed a bit. but any way its dead now. and im sick of using the keys already.

careful buddy, i got one from ebay and the fvcker didn't work after programming. it was kooky, unlock would open the trunk and sometimes it wouldnt even do that, it was just retarded. i had to go through ebay protection just to get my $ back.

not to discourage you from ebay, if you get it from the right seller and it works, more power to you. buuuut Key Fobs, Keyless Remote Entry & Replacement Remotes at eKeylessRemotes.com here's another thought. i know they're a tad pricey but if it works it works. i plan to get a fob and an extra chipped key from them since I only have the one that will make the car run.

the one i have now was used, got it for 15 i think, it lasted almost 2 years, so im getting a new one this time. and another replacement case and pad, who knows maybe it will work, but i'd to also have 2 fobs, one for each set of keys would be nice.

ill check your link out while im at it.
