I drive to my buddies wedding rehearsal and took him home after to grab some poles to go fishing and when I took off I hammered on the gtp and had a little smoke show then let off and got going and hammered it again and when I hit second it left about a three foot patch of rubber on the road. Fun times. Only about 200miles til I hit 216000
I MEANT to take it to get a 4 wheel alignment but I slept too late, and then I got called into work early because, suddenly, the kids need to be picked up. Odd how a school day suddenly pops up, gee that just gets me every time.
So it will wait till Monday nonetheless. However I've drove about 150 miles or more on this fvcked up alignment...I really hope I don't ruin my tires.
And I attempted to put in the poly dog bones tonight and I started cutting on the stock bushing and realized that the vise has been dismounted and removed from my knowledge. So till next time... If anyone has put them in, kindly share how ya did it
Shoo'd a cat off of it. The same thing I do everyday, Pinky.
I washed it and wiped it down so its all pretty looking. Then it got grass clippings blown all over it. So after I'm done painting more things, ill wipe her down again.
Tomorrow I plan on trying to paint at least 2 of the calipers. And maybe break out the PC finally.
Ive been far to productive today and its not even lunch time yet.
Changed the fuel filter and washed it.
Well, that was yesterday really. Today I wrote about it .
Took a rug cleaner to the back floor. Water came out of the bucket looking like 3 month old coffee. Doubt the previous owner ever cleaned it at all. Probably have to go over it again later but looks amazingly better. Not ashamed to have people in the back seat anymore.
No on my car, but on the truck I put on a 5" turbo back exhaust.
Well, this afternoon before work, I got the urge to go at it again. This time, I got out my good knife, some silicone lube, and a bfh. I lubed my knife, the rubber bushings sliced like butter, I put the bolt in the bushing, gave it a few swift whacks with a bfh, and out it popped. And then you can take the rest of the bushing out with a screw driver and some pliars. Then I put poly mounts in with MY man hands. And they went right in. Why was this so difficult last night lol
DONE. However, like this thread says http://www.grandprixforums.net/info-...ons-22919.html I checked my dog bones and there is quite a bit of play... So I need to get some dogbones

when my car got flooded, i had the whole carpet out, after it dried, a week later, and a 3 lb box of baking soda, i shampooed it with a steam vac, smelt good for a bout 2 weeks. zero flood damage (no smell) as i acted fast ripping the whole interior out.
got to drive around all mad max style for a week, no seats, rug or console.
Drove down to the OC Maryland Crusin' looked at some really nice rods and customs. Tried to start something with a Challenger R/T but there was no way in that traffic.
I think I'll rent a room next year so I can stay and see everything. Thought a cloud came over once but it was a Mustang three cars back that created a cloud of tire smoke that completely covered my car.
So today I tried parking on a hill and using my ebrake. SURPRISE the ***** don't work. Wtf I use my ebrake all the time. How does doing struts cause the e-brake to barely grab?
I also went in Reverse with the ebrake on and it tightened it a little. But still, do I need to take rotor and caliper off just to tighten the *****? I just don't understand...
in the back of the backing plate is a rubber plug, pull that off and with a flash light you can see the star wheel to adjust the e brake.
dont turn it to much at once as backing it off sucks, ( you need a pick to hold the bar off the wheel) jack up the car adjust it some, then hit the e brake and try to spin the wheel. you'll know if you went to far as you will hear it rubbing when the e brake is off.
Gave it a really good hand wash. Cleaned the little bit of dirt that was on the inside out too.
I was finally going to mock up my intake, but realized I didn't have enough clamps. I'll have to swipe some when I go to work Monday. I also want to clean my TB when I do it so I need to pick up some TB cleaner since I used the last of it when I ran out of brake clean a few weeks back.
