Did my tailgater switch. Got all the wiring done and was finishing it by soldering the last thing under the center console. Got that done, flipped it over.... where the **** is my switch?? The top of it came off. ****ing worthless chinese piece of ****ing ****. SO I had to take out all the now useless wiring which I had actually hidden really well... so I got pretty mad and I was throwing **** around while putting it all back together and apparently that did in my keyless entry remote which was barely attached on the inside. So now I have to solder that which is how I broke the other one (which funny enough didn't need it as bad as this one). I decided I'm not spending a ****ing penny on my car again unless it's for maintenance that I HAVE to do.
ALSO, my locks have randomly not been working. Sometimes they'll be fine and other times when its supposed to lock it'll just click in the bcm. Unlocking works fine. So probably new driver side switch or new bcm. It's not getting either.
Cleaned out the inside, gonna put new tie rods and new sway bar on tomorrow and wash the outside and vacuum the inside.
Looked into ordering new lug nuts but cant find some that are nice/look good/safe and dont cost a hundred bucks, 50-70 im fine with but not 100
oh and one of my wheels are peeling, saw the air bubbles when i sprayed them but ran out of time to pill it off and start over. Gonna try and fix it and the other wheel that has bubbles in it this weekend
Ah, Jake, buddy. The joys of GP ownership
Seriously. If I make a post that says I did something that costs money to my car that I didn't really need to do, ban me.

Drove it 500+ miles round trip ti wisconsin and back.. Put fuel in it, raced 2 cars.. A 325 bmw and an Audi TT.
i saved gas today by not driving it anywhere. or doing a thing to it, ya know what, i haven't even seen it today lol hope its still out there ....
upped my average mpgs instead of racing.
gawd i feel old saying that
Drove to work and passed about 10000 tractors. Then I got home and got the bike out and picked my son up from my mom and dads because it's in the 80's today on the last day of winter.
I drove it, wished it was clean
Just picked up my car with the MPD F1 painted. Just need to paint the griles and install them.
Put almost $68 worth of gas in it.
i broke down and pulled the lower kick panels off under the dash and the glove box out and turned my blend door to cold, put it all back together, then popped the relay back in for the a/c compressor, and BAM! ice cold a/c. then vac'ed it out and did a full interior cleaning, days off are a b1tch.
finally ran the a/c today. it was hotter than a mama jama.
still blows ice cold.
i was happy when i turned on my AC today and seconds later brrrrrr its cold in here!
Swapped the top of the fuel pump canister over from the returnless to the return style lid, soldered new wires on to the connectors for my 255lph pump so I didn't have a crimp fitting in there and I know they're solid now. Just have to wait until my fuel hose get's here so I can connect the pump outlet to the top of the canister lid, and I can put the pump back in the tank. Turns out the return line is a different diameter on the return style system than it is on the returnless so I will have to make a trip to picknpull to get a nylon return line from an older car.
