i would. but i want it to drive straight again lol
Replaced my ignition switch and got her running again....drove to the store.
Built a smaller, sealed sub box for my W3. The old box was ported and too small, so it's hard to compare because obviously this sounds a LOT better. It's 1.125 cubic feet and 100% sealed, I made sure of that lol. Total cost including lunch for my dad and I was $55 so I'm not complaining, I'll gain a bunch of trunk space back, and it sounds amazing. My lights still dim when it hits full tilt at idle, but I'm going to drill a new ground in the floor of the trunk when I finish everything up tomorrow, I don't trust the ground on top of the strut tower brace.
Cooler lines arrived, picked up some Dex VI and extra Jesus Clips and a funnel.
Will go on sunday when its in the mid 30s and not low 20s
Good ole jesus clips.
I get odd looks when I say that to people, because they never understand it at first.
Yeah I was trying to describe it to the woman at autozone, and shes like "Oh you mean Jesus clips" and I'm like yeah them things. Freaking cost me 10 bucks so I hope I dont need them so I can return em.
found out my vibration was caused by so far it looks like one wheel is missing the hub ring. so i measured the inside of the wheel and bought a set of hub rings.
firestone finally got my alignment done right. the wheel is a touch off center but ill get used to it. car drives straight again, all that matters.
and it looks like my water pump took a crap on me. pulleys got play and i got a off/on coolant leak. wet belts and balancer too. weep hole area looked dirty compared to the rest of the pump snout.
if it aint one thing its another
lucky water pumps are cheap. this one is only maybe 3 years old i think, with maybe 10,000 miles on it. f you duralast lol
Hearing a growl from the right front; stupid 3 year old SKF bearing.
Checked the bulbs while I had it out of the garage. The rear driver brake light was out.
Haha hubs, water pumps and power steering pumps. Gotta love it.
hubs im used to lol done 4 of them iirc. the p/s pump ive done once. and the rack twice. this time i went new rack. <<<<the main reason i have all these alignment issues. it needed to be done after the rack.
