Drove it around town with my girlfriends 2 year old in the back. Anytime I got on it. "Evans cars loud" then would giggle. That boy has potential. Already taught him how to name most of the basic tools in a tool box

Took it to a car event and got tons of compliments also on the way my oil light flickered on and went away. Power dropped for less than a sec. It instantly went away. Should I be concerned? I have oil by the way lol
Friend and his wife live about two hours away. Wife has training in the area and I have a spare house, she's staying there for training. My fiancee was working, so buddies wife and I had dinner. She has a Ralliart Lancer, interesting the way they setup the tune etc. For a 6 speed auto, it shifts up/down so much you'd think it was a manual.
It's not that impressive...just a 4th Gen Camaro. LOL A lot of the work that I would've done is already done. Mildly built 355 with 11:1 compression, GMPP cam, little throttle body airfoil doohickey, K&N intake, rebuilt 6 speed with carbon fiber synchro rings and Viper main shaft, rebuilt rear axle with 3.42 posi, SLP exhaust. I still need to get a set of headers for it, but a nice set runs a ton of cash.
I've got a few before pics before it's painted...I'll definitely take some after pics because the wife wants to see them anyway. LOL It's really not that impressive and I hate the current paint scheme/style. Dad is gonna come up with something better...he's the man when it comes to that stuff.
Today's project
Wife came back in April...we're trying to work through a lot of our indiscretions instead of just calling it quits. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's worth the effort, but I keep trying anyway.
Today, more sanding on the Camaro occurred by my dad...I've been busy finishing a 3100 swap into a Grand Am (stupid CA emission 3400 car originally and had a 60k 3100 CA emission sitting on the shelf from a 2000 Buick Century - it won't work they say...I prove them wrong) and swapped the engine harness and PCM on a 1989 Mustang 5.0 due to the car running too rich and stalling out. Tonight, I continue with the Jeep Grand Wagoneer engine removal...thing is built like a tank and everything is standard bolt size...had to blow the dust off the standard sockets and wrenches just to tell what size I'm using. LOL

It would've been easier to use my first idea which was the front manifold from a 97-99 Malibu 3100 CA emission car on a regular 3400 (my original plan) but when you get the opportunity to throw a 60k engine into something, plus mod and fab things, it's good times all around!
