I looked at mine sitting in the driveway in the -5 temps with a -25 windchill.
It was -11 with a windchill of -40 last night and the good old Eldorado fired right up. My heat wouldn't work though so it was a cold drive home...
It has to stay nice and warm in the garage when its this cold.
Actually..
I haven't picked it up from the seller yet lol. I'll be doing that either tomorrow or Friday when I don't have class.
I wish. I just haven't had time to go pick it up yet.
Not at all.. My dad is coming to get it this weekend and take it away from me forever thank god.
All in all I have a lot of memories with this car and I do enjoy it. It's just the fact that it's a freaking Northstar and has all of the 15 year old car issues minus rust.
Dropped off the Acadia at the dealer. It developed a noise lunch time. Took the GP back to work. The 180* thermostat should have been replaced. Heater not too good.
Dug out both cars yesterday and started them up. Drove the gas saver around a bit. Realized that around town it simply won't rise above 130*. The engine simply makes too little heat to even open the tstat, which opens at 180*. And apparently, in Toyota's world, that's just fine.
In my world, it isn't, because it means the heater is halfassed at best.
I found out what was wrong with the Acadia. It's $2000+ just for the part, torque tube or something. 99300 miles, I'm glad i bought the extended warrenty.
Noticed the power steering pump is leaking. Need to get a replacement sometime soon.
Dammit ^^^ ur LEDs look to much like mine now I gotta change mine
