getting the carpet out is truly a easy task, front seats, door sill trim, lower back seat, and the console. not to much to it.

98 Buick Regal GS, F body brakes, Caddy STS wheels, tinted tails L36 bottom end, lightly ported heads, 1.95 roller rockers, headers, gen 5 N* 3.0 pulley, FSIC, 42 lb injectors, a BrandonHall rebuilt trans, DHP tuned and AEM water/Meth injection https://goo.gl/gpV5kW

It wasn't my first time pulling my interior apart. I've done it quite a few times. Original my interior was gay beige.

Takes 30-45 mins if that. Took longer to wait until the carpet dried out from being pressured washed then it was to do all of this.

ive gutted my car in the dead of winter and in the summer....i had to drive all mad max style during the winter for 2 weeks waiting for the rug to drip dry, due to my car getting flooded.

the carpet really does keep road noise down. with out it is like driving in a tin can.

Luckily I have access to a truck so it was easy

Took the carpet out..if wasn't in terrible condition since I anal about my interior being cleaned

Took it to car washed and scrubbed it with zep all purpose cleaner (home depot).

    Pressured washed it.

Took it back home and allowed a few days for it to dry. Probably took 3 days or so but with constant rain I didn't bother making a effort to check if it was still wet or not. You can speed up the process if you have a shop vac.

2 cans of sem product color coat..love this stuff...it's not the cheap Duplicolor crap. Between coats before it dries I would use a stiff brush and wipe the carpet back and forth to maintain the plushness.

Let it dry for one day in my garage and then installed

I touched it up a bit while it was in the car then sprayed scotch guard over it to add some protection.

Results = total worth it. I hate gray black ftw.

When I did my initial interior swap it was in the dead of winter and I added sound deadening during the same time. It really sucked. Cursed and told myself why did I wait but I'm impatient at times. Rode around with just the driver seat...no carpet, no pillars, no interior at all and no headliner for a week or so..wires hanging everywhere. Never again.

No problem. Yea had it not been raining here for the last month straight I'm sure the sun would of taken care of the drying for me.
