not trying to let the pile get me down, i can handle all the normal day day stuff just fine. Its just my lil brother passing is plastered anywhere im looking. ppl calling texting, calling me at work. just getting to me man. i need to refrain from being on a computer and shut my phone off. I feel like a sissy. Ive never let anything get ot me like this.
he's family. it should get to you.. your not a sissy.. you have a heart and you have feelings and love towards your family.
That looks good Danielle. Big thing is the tranny in it. Most people over on gmls4.com tend to have their tranny go out between 80-100k miles. Now the ones who take care of their trannys last way longer. So id just look it up and down real well
I also love the gxp's. Would u get a tune done for it? Removing the DoD and running one heat range cooler on plugs makes the car come even more alive
The trans is what worries me, knowing that they can't really handle the V8 long term. I would defiantly do a trans cooler, but idk about a tune.
This one is pretty close so I could run up and test drive it. I've never driven a GXP before, so I'm more anxious for a test drive than anything.
My driving habits are mostly rural country roads with very very little city driving, and even the 'city' part is 40mph and 2 stop lights.
Then there is this beauty...but it's private seller and almost 3 hours away
Cars for Sale: 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP in Leslie, MI 49251: Sedan Details - 343433884 - AutoTrader.com
I seriously can't make up my mind on what to do. Dang female personality.
If I was smart, I would just try and sell my car now and drive the G6 until I found something.
To be honest the gxp's are fun for a DD if u get a good tranny for them. But that's a few extra bills...
Then do the right thing SELL IT and get the g6 your not losing all the much only a big repair bill. So the money you save on the rebuild is more money on another gp qith lower miles or a fresh rebuild. To be honest after I changed my engine my tranny started to jars shift into gear from park I know that is will need a rebuild soon. So in short get the g6 lol
Tank hold 17, filler neck and lines probably hold close to another gallon.
Got these today and wires.
I'm on 121,000 and never got replaced.
Will she gain some power?
Started the wiretuck
Gxp trans will be fine if you do a shift kit and a aggressive trans tune....buddies brother has a gxp for over a year that they tuned and it really woke it up and he drives it really hard no issues so far
