Don't buy toooo cheap - its a waste of money. Try to buy a name u have heard, Autostart - Ultrastart - Polar start.
U might be able to get one from ur local parts store fore $80 or less. But then u will need to buy some relays if u don't have a remote starter installed already.
And if ur going to install for security u will want to put a starter cutout relay in aswell. And make sure u can get a FULL set of install instructions, look online and see if theres a set, mine had a partial but since ive installed in the past I can fill in the blanks - and yes I bought a Viper high end, a lot of high end ones don't come with complete install instructions so u have to pay someone to install for u.
And im not making a remark about above post.
And I am getting emails from this site again - sporadically

How much it should cost labor?
The remote start up feels like messing with the ignition switch for long hours.
Today the dealer started to work on my car since the break in.
"Good Chevrolet" just got pAid $2650 for repairs. Ignition and cylinder and weather stripe.
I'd fix it myself for 200$ the most.
hooking to the ignition wires is not hard as peps think.
its the door relays that are harder.
drove it to and from work and wrenched on it a little bit because now i'm getting the p0300 code (random misfire) for those who don't know what it is
i helped a buddy out with swapping a washer fluid pump, and fixing his broken plate light.
then drove mine to princess auto, bought a tool for removing roll own windows for my buddys G5, and a snap ring tool for myself for when i tackle the clock spring, scotty, you got that link/know how still on how to reset the clock spring after its been floating around loose for like ever LOL
clock spring if its not centered. theres a button on it, you push that in and slowly turn it to one side, then turn it back to the other side and count the full turns, then turn it back 1/2 the times back to center it. just turn it slow or you can hit the end and break it.
i think mine was 7 turns, 3.5 back to center.
Ran it through the wash and go....then it FVCKING rains, FML.
letting it sit in the rain to get all the damn tree sap off.
