Last time I checked most people tell you not to do a external flush at all. And fwiw on my 97 when the original trans went I snatched a j-yard 98 model one with 95ish thousand miles all dex 6 no issues at all as preciously stated after 40,000 more miles when I traded it in for the Gxp choice is yours I'm just saying I'd rather use a superior fluid. If your trans is slipping then fluid won't help you.

Dex 6 is for anything 2005.5ish and up and the fluid designed for that trans.

Sure its "fully" compatible for older cars, but its still not the correct fluid for the car.
It was the correct fluid for the car....read the bulletin I posted

Raver...what are you looking for anti theft, winter time remote starting, or both?

Anti theft via alarm is a farce. Any thief that has a clue wouldn't steal a GP and the ones that will steal the contents know how to smash, grab and run. An ebay blinking led box would suffice to deter the smash and grabbers for the most part.

Remote start, what kind of range?

I'm looking for both alarm and remote start.
It seems pretty cheap on eBay (50ish)

I hope it will help so thieves won't sit in my car like last time and take whatever they want.

This last break in the spent like 30 mins in my car for sure.

    I lost so much.

Give me any idea to prevent it next time.
I'm good with wires. (Know how to install a stereo and cam)
But asking if its something that needs special knowledge with the ign switch.

Right, but when flushing the system you have two choices, dex or green. There are more disadvantages to dex than there are green. Dex is picky with anything else getting in the system(including air), and will threaten your cooling system with brown gunk. Any advantages? Green is just simple, it wont get sludgy, it works just fine, and is easily recognizable to even old people. You can see why people choose green. Not hating on dex-cool, just stating the facts.
