Yeah it seems so, not surprising here in Michigan. I'm not a fan of compression fittings, they are known to fail under severe braking if not done correctly. Recently when I flushed my brake system I tested my brakes by doing some hard braking, and was able to lock up one of the front wheels for a second, so I'm sure the fitting is fine. But the lines that were replaced are already rusty, so I'm thinking of getting a 25' roll and going to town. Time is something I have so that's not an issue, I am capable of flaring and bending so I might as well.
