Thread: What did you do to your Car today?

Not been able to get on the last couple days, so here it is lol Installed my new boost gauge in the vent and hooked up the scan gauge. Tried to install my alt rewire from zzp, but it seemed to drain the battery and made the radio go crazy.

Gonna be changing the oil today, picked up materials for 50ish $ and told my self i would get it done on my day off. Nope i slept as soon as i got home.

Gotta pick up another h1 bulb, as I broke one last night trying to finish up my retro. All back together just some ligning up and it'll be good to go

what your build cost come out to on those?

120 for new headlights, and with morimoto mini h1 projectors, the better bulbs aka xb-35 5k, xb led halos which are bright as ****, and reselling glue it came out to 375. So all together 485 roughly, well over 500 now that this ****tard broke a bulb last night lol

i cant see myself spending 500 on light upgrade.

Well if you have decent headlights and go with the normal kit it's 270, but I did halos and the best bulbs they have.

yeah mine are good, i could make the halos if i wanted but would be led, would prolly want ccfl. ah

Oh no, you do not want CCfl, that used to be the bright standard, but not anymore. The ones they sell that I got, are twice as bright and led. Plus they don't require a converter box and are way less delicate. I'll be posting pics in a bit of mine, stay tuned lol

Go in YouTube and look up xb led halos and there is a video from the retrofit source demoing standard eBay led rings, ccfls and the xb's

Do it! I tried them out real quick last night and I like the output compared to stock, very nice so far, and like I said, these halos are sickly bright

i dont know if i really wanna do a halo thing, im more of the led audi style stuff type of guy, i want to do something thats gonna take some time to make correctly

The Audi styles are nice as well, just don't get theirs. They are bright but small lol if you spend over 300 you get a free set, guess that's why they are free haha

If I had the place to do good work like that I would deff try it, but living in the parents house and step dads a dick and the garage is a mess, I has no room lol I was working ontop of a table saw, that's why the bulb broke, got caught in the plate of the saw top lol
