Today will make the great attempt to change my LIM gaskets and a few other things.

Isnt my car buts it a gp, gonna go beat on this gp till tranny finishes itself, then start tearing it down. o boy i cant wait lol
Don't beat it. Just pull it apart. Beating can lead to locking things up. It's no fun if you lock it up.
i wasnt the one that wanted to do it, owner wants to im just going along to listen lol he just wants to get a "new" trans, so ill let him do what he wants. maybe ill coax him out of it though like your saying can make it worse than it is.
Trans shouldn't be a problem like an engine. As long as the converter and chain don't both get locked. Problem is more when you lock an engine. You have to pull the pan and remove/beat things until you get it unlocked. Torque convert bolts don't appear to be able to come out w/o the motor turning.
yeah not worried about motor siezing since its in good shape, but then again i was in this car a month ago and it was great, not sure what he did to get the tranny to go. imma drive it around today after work when i get home and see exaclty whats going on.
pressure washed my pos with 2400 psi, hasnt been washed in like 3 months, it was nasty
Gathered up old parts from the burned up GTP. Selling these parts to try and make some vacation money. Gauges, sway bars, exhaust, rocker arms, machined lim, a few other things too. Couldn't get the headers off. Some of the header bolts are plain hard to get too, and it seems I've stripped tem as well. Oops. Also, decided to finish tearing down the L67 I bust a few years ago. got the balancer bolt off, and the balancer came off with a good whack from behind with a heavy mallet. Fun. I also put deep gashes in my fingers pulling some pistons out. Another oops.
Finished up my all day project which included changing out the weak nasty plastic LIM gaskets for my new metal ones, new injector O-rings, painted SC, and cleaned mad gunk stuff from top end when everthing was torn apart. And topped it off with a fresh oil change. The LIM project went alot smoother then i thought, if I could do it again i bet i could do it within 3-4hrs now. Was a lil scared to start her up after everything but besides a quickly fixed misfire and a torn vacuum line T, it runs smooth and no leaks what so ever but still gonna monitor it thru tomorrow.
worked hard today, now going out in search of food!
Got my rear struts in the mail today. Got my MAF tuned. Working on timing tables tomorrow.
Put the ole 16s back on for possible snow tomorrow night/Friday. First time theyve been on since I lowered it, and although those tiny wheels look goofy, I cant complain about the ride...much better on my poor cartilage.
i been to laura before, im do that tommorow cause i might have them figure couple other things out in the process
You all set yet?
Ice skated out the city from work last night. Slowest skating I've ever done.. 3mph was the top speed til I got onto the cleanish highway. Changed the sneakers on the car (thanks for the good deal Max) and reset the tire monitor this morning.
