Filled it with gas. Will be washing it tom.
fcked the shifter up
Drove it. Made racecar noises.
Drove it doin 95mph down the pkwy tonight, hit a dip in the road and launched into the air. Landed so hard had sparks fly about 15ft off from under the car.
here in canadu we hit railraod tracks and catch air if were going fast enough.
alot on gravel roads.
I hate driving over tracks, for some reason it feels like the cars getting kicked in the shins.
i jumped my 03 pick up over a set of tracks, i had to be 4 feet in the air for like 20 feet or so. now picture this, full ladder racks tool box across the bed, 3 ladders on the racks lol when i landed it sounded like every window in the truck broke lol
i hit these unsuspecting tracks at 40 mph, not knowing it was a ramp lol
as a kid i also jumped my VW rabbit by accident as well. cruising down back roads, on vacation down the shore, and a tree was covering the big sign that said hump in road, i hit doing 30 plus, the top of the hump was a man hole cover, the front end dipped down as i launched off the hump and the oil pan drain bolt caught the man hole cover lip and ripped it off. oil was pouring out like mad!
had a fun time explaining that one to dad. 1 week later i was doing reverse donuts in a dirt lot and blew the clutch to pieces still on vacation, keys were taken till the ride home, then taken away once we got home, lesson learned,,,or was it??????
Her birthday present arrived.
Finished prepping the new mirrors for paint. Moving onto the new bumper cover. Just about finished fabricating new bumper supports. Then time to wash the bumper cover and sand the clear off and that'll be ready for paint. Have to cut the bottom of the new fender and either transfer from the old fender or fabricate new metal depending on how bad the current fender is rusted. Gotta do a tab repair on the new fender flare/extension and prep that for paint then last is to prep the deck lid and new/old spoiler so I have a backup spoiler. Gotta figure out how the wires are run through the deck lid so I can pull them out and run them back through. After all that's done its time for assembly should have it all done in time for tax time with the other repairs that need to be done. Also talked to auto and found out that they can overhaul my trans for about $700 which puts me back at about $1500 for the entire car again.
Hit 140k km and learned yesterday how hard it is to get supercharger fluid off your skin
My older friends would pick me up for school and at least once a week he would jump his Vibe over the tracks at 60. Soooo much fun we landed sideways once and slid. his sister drives that car now.. I am surprised that it still in one piece we also did reverse to drive slams. that thing would lay out some smoke. Oh and cant forget about the used oil on the ground burnouts. Did one of those till the car was overheating.
