Spent a grand total of $8 for the new intake. All I needed was a 4" to 3" coupler. Already had a 4" k&n filter intended for the GTP(may it rest in piece)
OverKilled, HAI, Ported Throttle body, Ported intake, ZZP DP, Magnaflow, BMR ta's, GMPP STB's, CCS springs, tinted tailights, roof rails, TEP cool'r, G8 hood. Glass Gearbox.

This is gonna be a long azz post guys! Brace yourself lol sorry if tapatalk flips them... i hate not having access to a computer

    Some nice reflection photos!

    The taillights! Still need polishing...

Put spacers between spoiler and trunk. Love having water sit there and rust out the trunk!

And a glamour shot!! I will be finishing the hood and that crack in the bumper tomorrow lol

My brother purchased some plastidip from dip your car. He decided to paint his SD air dam as it was chipping. It's a temporary fix until he repaints it permanently when he gets his aftermarket hood. He painted it with a black base and then he used the red plastidip that he purchased. The red is a good match to the factory victory red color. We also plastidipped the wheels. He also used a black base with about 3 coats of metalizer to lighten up the color. We tried to see if we could get close to the competition grey color of the vette wheels. We actually should have used about another coat or 2 of metalizer. We taped off the center cap emblems as well. These are not the best photos. We should be getting better pics another time. The wheels will eventually be poweder coated. For now he is playing around with the colors to see what color he is going to go with.

Before shot to give you an idea of what it looks like with the Bonniville GXP wheels in factory silver. You can also see the SD air dam that was plastidipped.

After shot of two wheels being completed. Not the best pic to show off the color. It's actually lighter in color than just being black.

Thanks. Him and I are not fans of the GPO's.

I must admit that I was impressed with using plastidip. The nice thing is that it can be removed without damaging the surface.

Got outside and noticed one of those lug nut covers on the driveway then looked at my wheels and noticed I lost like 10 of them. Does anyone know where I can get some?

Instead of lugnut covers just replace the lugnuts.

GM# 09595120 - Retail is like $4.50 per cap, so unless the dealer will get you a better deal for buying a bunch you're gonna be looking at like $50 bux to replace, or you can just get some new lug nuts in any color or style and not worry about them coming off again.

Personally I like McGard. They are a lifetime coating. I've put them through the paces in both chrome and black. Hammer them with the air gun run them all winter. use standard hot rims cleaner on them, etc etc. they don't look abused, discolored etc.

Best part. You only take off 20 lugs. Not 20 covers then 20 lugs.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Did the passenger inner tie rod on the Buick. Wasn't as bad as I though to do. Man was the old one bad though. Mm or two play and when I took it off it was all floppy. The new one was solid as a new Moog unit should be. Was going to swap the driver side too but it was just as tight as the new one I did on the other side so I'll keep it for a spare down the road.

Just finished ripping out the back seat to access the rear speakers, the connectors i had soldered on 4-5 yrs ago finally broke lol
they were hanging down got caught all the time when cramming the trunk full

so pulled the rear apart, pulled speakers, reattached the connectors, putting them back in without them hanging down into the trunk this time.

Maybe ill get ambitious and finally bolt down that subwoofer lol,

NJ used to have a sticker, it was to show your registration was up to date. anyway apparently people in NJ are to dumb to put one on the front plate and one one the rear.

thats what they get for putting 2 small boxes on each plate. so they did away with it.
