Last night I was driving home, and it was instant, the power steering just stiffened up. So I drove it to work today and it is for sure stiff on the turns. Done lots of brainstorming today, and honestly it feels sorta like it did when my ABS light was on and turned magnasteer's power assist off. But maybe a touch worse.
Fluid is fine, pump is quiet, things seem normal. No leaks that I can tell. So wtf is goin on? I'm thinking it could be the power steering pump going out, and that it's weak. Or perhaps something is wrong with the rack like a burnt magnet or something.

Fvckin car pisses me off every time you turn around SOMETHING is giving you fits. Though it's been problem free for months now, I'm not happy.

    You think thats alot?

Look up a 1999 Cadillac Catera's MAF sensor.

The cheapest our shop can buy one is over $400 and its going to take over a week just to ship it in. The dealer has one for over $600. Talk about stupid $$$$.

This is your chance to keep it. You said once you wanted to back out of the deal, no? You may not find what you want to replace it.

i guess i was about 18, i had the firebird in my avitar there, went out got smashed, dont remember much, BUT i had this dream that night.

i dreamed that i was on my road, going to fast to turn into my drive way, but went in, then had to cut across the front lawn. and back down the curb, then went to the corner did a fantastic 180! smoked up the block rode that 180 1/2 a block back to my house, pulled in the drive, and that was it.

till i woke up...... went out side tire tracks across the front lawn and one hell of a 180 with tails down the block.

    i was not dreaming....

f'ed up part is a cop lives in the house i did the 180 in front of. got lucky a lot that night.

I know it is still worth some money and i am amble to find a few super cheap GP's around here. I want to sell it to pay off 2 medical bills and still have enough to buy another one. My wife's last day at work is the 21st of this month and we found out 2 Sunday's ago that we are going to have another baby. The bills aren't a lot, but every little bit of paid off debt helps. I have already re-listed it on CL. Hopefully it sells. I would like to keep it, but paying off debt trumps right now.

I also would like to trade a PS2 and an older set of K2 Fatty Inline Skates for some factory speakers that are not dead and a factory radio w/cd player that the clock still works.

Just finished my vehicle registration renewal... Vanity plates. Never thought I'd get em but I did.

    "3800 SC" on Perry's Monument/Put-in-Bay logo plates.

I forgot to snap a picture of the preview but here's an idea of what I'll be getting in the mail soon.

    Pretty excited.

Almost went with "GRAMPS" on a Fish Ohio plate but decided against the humorous route.

It wouldn't let me display the 3800 again because I had already completed the registration

I think those types of vanity plates are a waste, when you put the car model on there. Yours isn't as bad as my wife's Uncle. He drove an Audi A6. His license? "AUDI A6." I had IMPN8EZ on my Impala in Virginia. Having fun with the name I think is better than the straight name. I see lots of PONY type plates on Mustangs, and that's cool. My friend with a Mach 1 has MACHPNY. Another friend had HRSPLYN on his Mustang.

I couldn't get IMPN8EZ in Georgia. Don't know if it was taken or the state wouldn't allow it. So I got a play on my last name instead.

Just my opinion. It's your money.
