Boat party with bill!!!!
thats a cute little boat. whats that 16? reminds me of my first boat lol, it was a 14 foot fabuglass with a 40 off the back lol
Ordered a new set of tires for the GP, same tires that are on my Old's.. 225/50ZR16
I LOVE THEM They are great in snow and you cant even tell there is rain on the ground. An improvement from the current tires that are bald/showing belt/chewed up from the accident.

Called Jeff at Engineered Performance to find out my rebuilt transmission is ready for installation! I'll drop the GP off after Sunday newspaper delivery, and should have it back Tuesday or Wednesday. After that, I start saving my pennies for the upper and lower manifolds and the oil pan gasket. Should be good then until 300,000 miles.
A bit over 177,000. Since I put about 100 every day just delivering papers, I'll probably hit 200,000 before the end of the year if I keep doing that. I've only been delivering papers since over drive went out, but once it's back, I'll be driving it again to work once or twice a week instead of driving my Impala.
I'm hoping to keep mine going untill I can't drive any longer. I only just turned over 60,000 so I should be able to.
Your car did need something after all Bill, a friend!
Well technically i did this Sunday, but i ripped my roof rails off and I'm currently sanding them down to repaint them =D
Considering how much I've spent just this year, it better make it another 100k miles. :-) I knew that my transmission was going, but some job changes made me use it more, so it died sooner than I thought it would. I probably could have bought another car, but at least with my GP I know what's been done to it and what is wrong with it, and with my Impala, I have two W-body cars. Easier to fix two similar cars, and I can also swap parts around to confirm things are broken. I traded in a car at 140k about 15 years ago because I didn't have the knowledge to fix it, and donated a car 6 years ago for the same reason. I feel more comfortable now doing work on my car, and I've found some folks to help me as well. So I want to push my GP to 300,000, and get my Impala to my oldest son's 16th birthday. Four years until that day...
I dry humped my bumper for a few.... Then picked up my fresh rebuild from the guy... To be continued.
took out my powdercoated rim from the trunk - and my lug nuts will fit no prob - which is good, they are hard to find.
And the ss valve stems i bought dont fit, 2mm to big.
Looked for valve stems that will fit, and after 2 hours, might have some, waiting for email back.
Thinking about just grinding the ss ones i have down to fit.
My advice - DONT buy TUNER rims - toooo much hassel!!!!!!!!!!!
I applied Armor All to the bottoms of the front and rear bumper covers on the GP today and made it all shiny and dark like.
boo armor all
Got zeeee tint, and some new buffing and polishing compounds
