Glared at the vette in the garage, wished it was under the cover so I wouldn't have to look at it. Drove the stupid dakota but at least it was a nice enough day that I didn't need AC

replaced both outer tie rods. 25min from start to finish wooo
Put it up for sale wife wanted an Acadia and it was her car all stock.
My wife says her 2010 Acadia is the cheapest made of the Blazer/TrailBlazer/Acadia she's owned.
Started porting a SC today.... Will finish tomorrow...
I helped a guy at work fix his truck.......it was out of gas lol
cleaned the inside of the cobalt out. looking pretty good now. and i tried to re-attatch the front valence, we'll see how that goes. as for the grand prix... looked at it. called it a few names. asked it why it wasn't working and it told me to f*ck off. bypass solenoid is on it's way though, and that's it except for tuning
Polishing stuff is fun!
only 3 more
checked for oil leaks, and found one, my new valve cover gasket job is leaking, i cant win...
better news, cash in my pocket.
just got the go ahead from my friend to change the knock sensors on his 05 3500 silverado with a 6.0, for those who dont know the knock sensors are under the intake, so yeahhhhhh intake job.
so on the list is intake gaskets, 2 knock sensors, one knock sensor sub harness, two, o2's and a new injector, should make a fun day. hes not happy cause hes up to 400 just in parts. but thats what happens when you drive around with the cel on for 2 or 3 years.
oh wow.. sucks for him. YAY for you,, partially.
thank god GM swapped the Knock sensor to the outside of the block in 07
yeah, it is. no coolant in the intake. i was talking about the displacement on demand, or active fuel management (department of defense didn't like the DOD acronym) manifold that sits over the valley. it's got 4 solenoids in it to control pressurized oil to the lifters. i'm not sure if you have to take that off for knock sensors on the 5.3's or not, but i doubt the 6.0's had active fuel management
