Came to a very large/busy intersection this morning....and saw tons of soda bottles and the blue trays they stack into all over the road. To give a good idea of the magnitude, the road is two lanes in all directions, plus one or two turn lanes in each direction. Clearly one of the Pepsi drivers (warehouse up the road a quarter of a mile) might have left a door open while taking the curve. Every lanes was full of them.
Tried to dodge what I could. Believe that I dragged a blue tray through the intersection and definately hit a few bottles. Car smelled like burning plastic when I got to work. hahahaha bet that was from the tray.
Lol I would have opened the door an swooped a few for myself
I'm liking the plain Anchor brand mounts i get at O'Reilly's. Just solid. However I can say if you turn your Grand Prix or Regal upside down and slam it one good time against the road then leave the eng/trans hanging upside down for the better part of an hour... the Anchor mount will rip the safety pin out on one side and the rubber will be shot.
Its new bulbs came in, just gotta swap em out and ship the old ones back to classy.
I've been researching Retros and such all day, I think I'm gonna give it a try when the taxes come in next week...What size halos do people normally go with?
I think most people go with 70mm for the morimoto minis.
I'm thinking of looking into having some custom emblems made, since the Comp G badges have been discontinued. Here's a rough mock-up I did of a Comp G badge, and a modified G-Force one to imagine what these may look like. I'm not sure the exact dimensions of the Comp G badges, but I went with 4.2" x 0.8" for these.
Trashed (while installing) not one, but two rear crank oil seals, lolz. So finally got my stubborn off and removed rear cover to put seal in EASIER! I'm afraid AutoZone hub wontbhabe any more if I screw this one up! Arrrgh!
Went in the garage to use brake cleaner on the inside of my fuel pump assembly then realized i didn't have any then shut the door and went back inside and took a nap.
Getting the bonneville towed to my house tomorrow.
Bought DHP today... CapnBreakAlot is tuning now... uh-oh
I have no idea in the slightest what I'm doing. Right now it's just lots and lots of reading before I touch anything.
I'm gonna be grabbing a spare trans soon.. may as well get a spare motor haha.
Ask him about how his trans is doing
And a spare car when this one catches fire from your "tuning"
