New aluminum elbows on the GP and a T-Stat. Changed the coils and icm back to original on the Cavy . Checked the plugs as well. Bought a fuel filter and strut for the cavy too.

Modified the f-ing ZZP BCA (Boost Control Actuator) to make it match the stock GM ones, since those are now hard to find for a good price.

The ZZP one I've had for the past 3 years has the top port at 7 o'clock instead of 11 o'clock. It forces you to use a vacuum line that's about twice as long as you would with the original GM BCA (~8.25" vs. ~4.15"). I have a couple old, non-functioning BCAs. I marked off where the port on top is supposed to be (after looking at the original GM design) & used 4-5 drill bits carefully to make a tiny hole then expand it to roughly 11/32". I bought a thick 1" hollow aluminum spacer from Home Depot for $1 & wrapped a thin layer or two of electrical tape around the spacer. I snugly rotated the spacer into the hole about 1/3 of the way then used that Amazing brand plumbing goop & put a nice fat layer of clear goop on the new port area & kinda shaped the wet glue with my finger. Let it dry & cure overnight. I hacksawed off the old port, used a small file, then 180 grit on it super fast. I put a square of electrical tape over it then used a stout ziptie over it around the top section of the BCA.

Pretty good butt dyno results. It seems as if the Boost behaves much better in first gear. Before, it seemed like there was a lot of lag & the Boost would only feel right when I had a lot of road space to work with & really gave it time to build & develop. Tonight, I was running a couple errands around my busy suburban village. The car seemed to accelerate much better over short distances in mostly 1st gear. I had one mini pull where I had some space to let it go through 1st & had some good maybe half of 2nd gear in almost full Boost. Saw close to 7 PSI on the Scan Gauge (w/ a 3.6, headers, rockers, full 2.5" exhaust).

I dunno, I'm not sure if the specific positioning of the port on top makes a difference but having that long vacuum line has always bugged the sh1t out me since I always remember back to how short the stock GM design had it. We'll see soon how it performs on the highway when I have more space to play with. I swear, though, the Boost in 1st & 2nd gear feels a lot different than it did before I moved the port back to where it SHOULD be.

I'm in my garage smoking right now just looking at the long vacuum tubing that was in there before. It is LONG! From an engineering standpoint, I'm gonna venture & say that it definitely is better to have a shorter vacuum line that runs from the top port on the BCA to the top of the supercharger. Boost seemed much more responsive tonight after the relocation of the port.

Took a drive up to the Vape shop, it was raining, found out even with traction control, it don't take much to break loose and get sideways with this Goat. Still getting used to the car.

Didn't we tune, wire up some gauges, fix a rattling driver seat, find a mis fire, add a new heat switch to make the heated seats work, bend your door back in
    place, and retune again..lol

Stopped for an oil change on the drive home last night. Got the lecture about how I have the wrong coolant in the car (it has been green for 7 years). Why can't they just change my oil and keep quiet?
