car started to yell about oil or something, I thinks I forgot to reset it last oil change

Check engine light came back on this morning. Lasted 2 days after I had it scanned and cleared. Now to find why I'm getting a random misfire code.....damn vac leaks.

Wouldn't a vac leak equal a system to lean code?

When the intake gaskets went bad on my truck it caused a bad vac leak and threw a random misfire code. I'll look at it this weekend.

Well to sum everything up, yesterday on the highway the black gtp started smoking and over heating, I pull over pop the hood and look under the car and its spewing oil.. Get it towed to a shop and I'm told that the block cracked and the engine need replacing.. I give up .. I'm gonna try and sell it as is.. Maybe someone else wants to fool around with it .. Smh

Why not swap engine from White car into Black car?

Shopping around for some coupon codes so I can save a bit on a Inferno hood. No luck so far.

I don't trust this car, I trust the white one more & on top of that my white car all smashed in the front still drives wayyy better than the black car, I'm either going to sell the black one and use the money towards my white GTP or strip it down

a 3800 with a cracked block... idk man. I'd get a second opinion I've never heard fo that.

Its a big 'murican iron block iron head.. head gaskets, head issues, block issues, are all basically non existant. Definitely get a second opinion

Idk it's possible, it's leaking by the harmonic balancer, it's not the oil pressure sensor, I checked that..

Front main maybe?

I've seen 3800s with HOLES in them, but never seen a crack. I'm sure it happens, but it's rare. Oil filter adapter gasket?

Yup I'd check the main seal gasket.

pretty sure my rack has taken a dump in the form of play in the wheels. and a clicking sound when i rock the steering wheel but nothing moves, rod wise. sounds like its clicking from the inside of the rack at the gear box area.

Hit another racoon this morning, had some flesh stuck on my resonator but it fell off on my way home.

Also took a load of metal to the scrap yard, cast iron bathtub, filled with random old car parts and rotors, some sections of a garage door. Scored 72 bucks from it which is going to my Retro fund which may or may not be getting set in stone next week.
