I paid 4400 bucks for it (they were asking 6875 for it so yay for employee pricing) which I thought was a decent price considering how there are gt grand prixs in my area with more miles at the same price point. I sold my black one with 165k for 3k and dumped my gold one to my sister with 130k for 1500.
Currently looking at 18"s as I have found a few that I like. I also have a set with no tires in my garage that need some work. I know the ones I have would have looked good on the black one but I'm not so sure on this white one. I am currently planning on coilovers for the car and I was planning on getting some cts-v brakes to throw behind the rims. I wanted to go royal purple for an accent color on the black one (purple inlay, cts-v calipers, supercharger? Etc) but again not sure on how I would like it with white. Also the green might not last, like I said still trying to find an accent color I like.
And thanks for the compliments it is pretty clean just needs a clay, quick buff, and some zaino and it should be set. Also undercoating will happen in the next few months.
That looks like a lot of work and pain to me! Foot and truck, damn. Treat that toe right, D. No foolin, today is the best day because thats gonna hurt tomorrow and the next hundred days or so. All I did today was change out a rear side marker bulb on the GTP and also did another little free and quick poor boy mod for the how-tos. Planning to make some noise with the Grape one after the sun sinks a little lower.
That's really good. May I ask what products your using? And process? Gonna do the wife's car soon.
You sure can ask. I use Poorboys world Products. They are reasonably priced and I've had really good experience with them.
This particular job was with my PC and Poorboys Professional Polish on a green pad. Then I followed up with meguiars yellow #26 wax also applied with the PC on a blue pad. I usually throw layers of glaze and sealant in between but I didn't with this truck.
Awesome thanks. Just bought the wife a car and it's so dull. She doesn't mind but it's nagging me knowing it can be all shiny with some work lol
Swapped ac compressor on a guys impala then did a pulley swap on a guys comp g and added 8* of wot timing to it. Then plugs and wires on dad's mountaineer
8?
I bet it's going to pop.
Clay got the motor in Keith's car running. Took three days cause the replacement motor came out of an h body. But he didn't break anything
Washed it for the first time in a few weeks. Also vacuumed the interior and cleaned the windows. Also put in some LED strip lighting in the trunk for added light. I ran it across the bottom of the speaker tray where there's an indented area. It turns out I still had to leave the original incandescent light in the circuit though, without it the bcm doesn't see enough current and shuts the power off going to the light. So both are lighting the trunk. I'll go snap some pics and edit this.
Edit: Yeah I really like it lol. Last night I was fumbling around almost blind with the minimal light the stock setup gave off. Now it's brighter than the interior lighting

Finished up the motor swap today. It runs and no knocking! Finally. Now time to fix this trans.
I replaced all interior speakers with focal 6.75 components, custom molded the factory Bose 5.25 to oversize components and finished wiring in the "Pontiac" projectors, adjusted the amp's and finished the door l.e.d. door lights and panel pin replacement. 7 hours to full alarm and remote start replacement.
Finally installed my Aerofoce gauge. Ran the power wire using an add-a-fuse kit into mall pgm fuse and for whatever reason blew bolth my headlights. Only hi beams. Low's and drls still work. Swapped the bulbs and fixed that problem. What did I do wrong?
