so what would you conclude from this mr parkave?
yeah, I want to install the cooler a filter, and a kit. just got a lot on my mind and been pushing the car to the side. except for washing it. That stuff gotta get done a couple times a week.
its car wash day for me today, it rained last night and the car got dusty before that, and no rain for days in the forecast. i feel safe putting the time in to washing it this time.
i really need to clean the inside, vac, dash and windows.
yeah I thought the cycle would of ended sooner. Guess maintenance has been done correctly though via records. I'm just weirded out by trans flush around 80k
Doubt flush it just pan drop and filter change
im not going to, previous owner did. it was in the paperwork
Doesn't mean anything except that they were trying to do right by teh car.
oh I know, they were doing what they thought was right, flush around here though is a touchy subject
Only if you are misinformed. Flush isn't bad.. neither is a pan drop. It's people that have trouble, do a flush thinking it'll be magic and then blame it for the final failure.
the used tranny i got from max. i bet it was flushed 3 times in 30,000 miles. its got like 140 ish on it now.
Filled up 14 gallons of 87 for 55 bucks

It did, but the 1-2 shift is getting worse and worse. After talking to Dave (Triple Edge genius), there isn't much I can do. The clutches are sloppy from the factory, and the fact that I have 230,000 miles means they are even more sloppy. On top of that he said that a shift like mine will snap the input shaft, so I'm doing my best to avoid that. I'll be putting the hardened chains, and swapping over everything I've done to the transmission, so it should be pretty solid by the time it's in the car.
