Well they are gonna take another look at it wed, he was telling me its hard to get the wheel dead straight but I find that hard to believe because most other cars iv drove track dead straight, even my moms car after its alighnment at sears. Plus the wheel has to be turned about this much for straight which I can hardly believe is the best they can do.

I wonder if it sheered the bolt off or you forgot to tighten it after the headers seeing as you forgot a few bolts on the front header

Good thing im not paying for them to re adjust, and the fact I waited 2 months and like 3k miles before I had them look at it I doubt they would refund me and I'm not worried about a refund. I need new tires soon anyway so perfect time have it fixed by another place.

so i couldn't figure out how to take off the TB harness.. and didn't wanna break it... so i disconnected the batter and pushed the TB plate down.. and it's was springy and it didn't stay down or anything. so I cleaned it the right way this time.. got it more clean.. but it still idles at like 11...1200 rpm.. if i put it in drive.. a wait 30 seconds or so.. it idles down to the normal 600 or so.. but as soon as it gets gas and rises above 1000.. it stays up at 11...1200 rpm again.. same with in rev. or anything. it idles at 11..1200 rpm...

They are liars. I have been driving for 17 years now and have never had an issue with my wheel not being straight, never. I even used to get alignments done on old school alignment racks.

There is a plastic "lock" that you have to pull up to get the harness unplugged, just like on the MAF.

They guy tried to tell me its supposed to be like that because of the slope in the roads or some crap. My grandpa has been going to that dealership for a long time now and is good friends with a few guys there. So ima have him go with me maybe that will change something.

    This

It's nothing hard about getting the wheel straight so your telling me you have to deal with a crooked steering wheel. I think not. I'll give him one more chance to fix it.. If my get a refund and go elsewhere.

There is a little something to that, however it is not supposed to be that severe.

I had the same thing happen to me, minus the steering wheel. New tires fixed the problem for me.

Wheel not straight after alignment normally means a lazy tech did it. And didn't even out the tie rods just got them sync'ed. But there are plenty of other potential reasons as well. It would be worth bending down to confirm you have four of the same size tires, Kyle. Use your pressure gauge while you're down there... they don't really check for air pressure and loose suspension components anymore.

Once I put drop spindles and a flip kit on my GFs truck and it drove pretty normal to the alignment place. I had eyeballed toe and the torsion bars. Said when she left the alignment shop it was squallin just going straight down the road. So it went right back. The trouble is, and its no so much the tech's fault... nobody pays to go drive the car after. Or, everyone pays for that but nobody gets it. Ain't figured out which yet. The fact is that nowadays you are supposed to align a car and never drive it. Thats expecting a lot from something with so many variables.

I have 2 different tires fronts are Bridgestones rears are Khumos. All are 225/55 or 225/50 I can't remember, suspension is tight as least when I check the wheel for play like checking for tie rods, ball joints ect. Thats the thing the guy said when he drove it, it was fine. I'll check tire pressure tomorrow but it should be fine, the tire I had plugged wasn't loosing air anymore. The guy said something about trying to make it right by maybe adjusting it then driving it and seeing if it needs adjusted again so either they are trying but the tech is just garbage or just lying to make me happy. I'm gonna see if I can give the guy a ride to show him what I mean incase they thought it was just pulling right because of the toe or something.

Cool. My post kind of sounded nonsensical when I said "sync'ed". What I meant is when they only take one tie rod loose to get the numbers on the machine, then don't care if the wheel is off center. I bet if the guy drives it there will be no issues, or a root cause will be discovered.

I took a company vehicle to bell tire for an alignment once after new struts and tie rod ends. The steering wheel was really off center afterwards, and they just tried to shrug it off as a radial pull. Umm it wasn't like that when I brought it in, no way does a tire go bad from going to bell tire. Hey, I can do a toe and go alignment by eyeballing it in my driveway and have the wheel perfectly straight, and have the alignment really close to perfect. They can do it right with all the right equipment.
