I used some lubegard for the transmission today. Added about 2/3s. I'll see how it shifts now. Last week it slipped real nasty. Hopefully it works.

For once I agree, I don't like the plasti dip. I'd much rather paint, this just took less prep work to see how I'd like it. I'll be working overtime like crazy for a few weeks as well, so this'll last about that long. Then I'll have my mind made up on if I want it black or white. I have the black hood and all, but the paint is chipping so it'll get painted at some point.
So I hit a bump a bit harder than I should have today.. Now everytime I get on it a bit or turn right usually I'll get a pretty loud pop I can feel.
Got the cooler in the mail today but it seems there was a mixup in the order and I got the 1401 instead of the 1404 will it still work Or should I return it? I'm getting trans temps of 228

Front and rear pads and rotors. Broke the bleeder valve off the rear drivers side so ended up having to replace that as well. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. That squeak is finally gone too.

Dan does this mean your vw rad/heat exchanger is going on along with the 2.8 so you can have even more racecar.

removed a exploder rear quarter glass today. last week a rock from a weed whacker broke it at a house he was cutting. he got a used window for 50 bucks.
so i got the 3m window adhesive and took the old one out. tore its plastic frame off leaving the sealant on the car, so i had to chisel it off. then i got to look at the used window, that same sealant is still on the window, so it needs to come off. heres where thing get crazy.
we all know theres a tool for this job, but i dont have it. so i tried to heat up a wood chisel and burn/scrap it off, well it works but is to slow. so i got the grinder out with a coarse grinder wheel and went at it, i won!
cleaned the window and truck body up, then applied the 3m crap and popped it on the truck and gave it a push and wiggle and it set right in place. threw some tape on the window to body top to hold it up. should be golden in the morning.
i get to see if it leaks tomorrow lol fingers crossed.
