They used to, way back in the day. Now they don't last for sh!t. My brother has an old one that has been through hell and back and hasn't missed a beat. I bought one a year or two after and had it warrantied twice and then it died again and I just said fvck it and didn't deal with it.

Interesting iv had delco batts last for 7+ years before they die catastrophicly like they usually do for me. Same with neverstarts. Sucks I thought they were actually a good brand.

Haven't had any issue with Everstart, at least the Maxx's. I have one in the GP and one in my Stealth. I leave it unhooked on the Stealth unless I go to start it and it has plenty of juice every time. The car has been sitting for 3.5 years and before that I had the battery at least 2 years. I've the battery in my Grand Prix for about 3 years with no issue.

This one was my fault.. Had my wideband wired wrong and drained it and the parts stores around here don't have a strong enough charger to bring a low voltage optima back up to 12v so really all they can do is warranty it out. Fine by me new battery and another new warranty. Quality of them has went down but I haven't had much luck with duralast so I'll stick with them.

Oh and starting to get around to fixing my abs/TC issue. I scanned it earlier C0450 and C0550. I love not having to pay someone to scan for.

On my transmission issue, I have noticed something else. When coasting in gear, my RPM will drop down to 500 rpm or lower, then come right back up to idle. This happens almost constantly after it warms up a bit. sitting still in gear, totally fine. Only when I'm moving. I've got a spare MAF and TPS I'm about to put on, we'll see if it does anything, but at this point it's a shot in the dark.

Saw my change to wax my car, slim but I just barley made it. It got completely dark after I was wiping the final parts free of wax. The family had to switch cars for tomorrow morning in the middle, so when I pulled in the street and waited for them to switch I continued waxing in the middle of the street lol. (cars were parked on both sides due to memorial day parties)
Speaking of which I got to listen to wonderful karaoke while I waxed

I've driven it some more with only the oscillating problem, checking the fluid level after every drive and it's gone down a little, but it's still in the crosshatches. I made double sure to put the oil dam back in, and the little black dam thing down by the chains.
10 quarts included a quick flush, 8-8.5 quarts for dropping the pan and accumulator. I wonder if the issue is caused a drop in line pressure instead of just tcc pressure. You could get a pressure gauge hooked up to it, put it on the windshield and take it for a drive to see.

Awesome! Now I want one but it looks freaking confusing. Is it? Was it hard to implement the features on it? I'm super interested in the torque app.

Optima actually makes a special charger specifically to bring back dead red tops. Anything else doesn't properly work.

If you can use\root\play with an Android phone, it's no worse. The weirdest thing for me was the steering wheel controls thing. I ended up using an SWI-X converter, which basically makes the steering wheel controls a universal remote. Since the head unit uses an MCU, the volume would be controlled by the internal IR receiver, and the play\pause\etc is through a USB remote receiver. If you get furtherinto it, I can clarify on that whole thing more. I personally love it, but you have to now Android and such to enjoy it.

Yup that's what I've been told in the past. If it's not to far gone then advance can usually put it on a slow charge but I tested it before I brought it up there and it was down to 2v.. So I already figured It need to be swapped and I needed it done within a reasonable time so that I could close my sunroof before the storm comes.

I would paint the mounts and engine cover the same color and find some blue plug wires .

I just installed a different MAF and TPS, but the TCC still oscillates. I suppose I could look at the bright side, if I pull both axles and the output shaft, I could run a rope\chain through the transmission and have a pretty good boat anchor.

I assume your talking to me. I tried painting the engine cover the same color. The paint literally just ran off it didn't stick what so ever same prep same everything. Idk why. But I'll have to find more metalcast because that can I bought when I was at college and it was the only advanced I could get it in store so I'll have to look. I'm going for more looks now rather than performance cause **** it. It's NA
