Gave the AC a good testing. It was blowing at 38F right from the vents.
I'm sure he washes it "every once in a while"......
But when you live on a dirt road it takes about 10 seconds to get dirty again.
Im 3 miles down a dirt road too. I dont DD the GTP but my DD looks the same as your GP. Rain days always get it mord dirty.
Returned the new front hubs from last week. Instead of making them fork over my cash I got the Dorman front sway kit, an outer tie rod end, ATF & filter, oil change stuff. Sway bar goes on Friday after work. Might see if I can scare up a shift kit before the pan drop. Tie rod end will probably be returned if I find a good one on death row. Old one just has a split boot.
When I got back to the shop from deliveries this afternoon I decided to leave the car at work and brought the truck home to clean it up. This is my boss' truck. While he knows a little about cars, he is not a car guy. Ever since before I started the inside of the truck has needed cleaned out. Papers, receipts, clothes all through a single cab Silverado.
I think I got 3 plastic grocery bags full of clothes, 2 bags full of random crap, 1 bag full of paperwork and stuff like that, and another bag with stuff that can go into the shop. I am going to walk in tomorrow and give the boss his "gift bags" LOL
After I was done cleaning the inside I decided to give it a quick wash job. I would not doubt if that truck hasn't been washed since before he moved up here from Florida, and he has been up here for a few years. The truck went from being a very dull white to being bright white. There is actually what looks like little areas of surface rust on the doors. It is just in specs here and there though.
Of course, just as I was finishing washing the outside a thunderstorm rolls in. I took the truck back to the shop and picked my car up. I think the boss is going to pull in tomorrow and ask who's truck that is. LOL
He said he basically lived out of the truck for 6 months. I think when he first came up here he was really the only employee of our location so he was probably on the road a lot. He has a lot of clothes in his office too LOL.
I didn't really detail the interior, I'll leave that for another day. It has the plastic flooring so I did vacuum everything and then hose it out a little.
New plugs in my Aunts Prius, plugs and wires and a bettery in her Sport Trac (**** Ford 4.0's. What a pain to change plugs on.) And got to check out my Uncles Brabus Smart Fortwo. What a goofy car..
Todays weapon of choice.
This is what I ended up with. Probably more wiggle room than I need but plenty of room for the connects.
And figured I would do an anti-shake add-on....the red isn't blood, it's red loctite
Back ,with old rubber bumper for shock damper.

you guys make me laugh.... it's called an internet rant.. of course it was my fault.. doesn't mean i can't ***** about it... and duh.. i'm gonna man up and pay it... i know it was my fault with everything.. what gets on my nerves is the sticker written warning.. like the dude tagged it on just to be a *****. and the other thing is with my tint is that every single city cop in my home town has seen my car... never has been a problem... i'm from the top county that produces meth in the state of MN.. so don't tell me they pull me over for drug reasons... the only enforcement that has every had a problem with my cars tint or anything are state troopers.... that's what gets me.. not the fact that i was speeding.. yes.. i was in the wrong.. but why are troopers such ass holes about my tint when over 2 dozen cops have seen my tint/stickers and not bat an eye...
Just because your hometown cops are ok with it doesn't mean when you go outside of that town that you shouldn't be bothered by it. Wrong! There's several other towns besides the one that you leave in, that play by different rules and ignore certain things. Your missing the point your tint is illegal according to your state so don't ***** and scratch your head as to why some other troopers would be bothered by it. It's not your hometown it's not like they know who you are so they have every right to be suspicious.
