Washed it and wiped the interior down again since I had my cleaner with me. I also treated the leather seats and reswept all the nooks and crannies since I had my little brush shop vac adapter thingy.

Before that I cleaned up Lee's 06 Silverado. That thing looks sharp all cleaned up. To bad I didn't get pictures. But the garage queen went back inside so if I go over there tomorrow I can get one.

But here's my white whore :-)

Well considering I am still based off a raggedy late winter Collinite845 wax job(to help with the slush/salt sheeting) with no other prep, I would say hell yeah.

Besides the winter swirls, it is pretty darn smooth/slick and sheets/beads water efficiently.
I really like the addition of the ONRW&W as a conditioner and since the Gold Class is already slippery, it all gets amplified.

This next Saturday I am hoping to get the clay, polish, compound and sealant done.

The clears are in a box with the old headlights. They may be going back on, not sure yet.

I really need to clay bar mine, I was finding all the rail rust all over it and its been a long time since I last did it. Then I'll get the PC out and really go to town.
Now that the house is almost done, hopefully that will all happen sooner than later.

    Todays project.....damn vandals

    And......all better

Im lucky that I have so much experience with doing window work on these cars, I have personally had the door apart on this door atleast 8 times to deal with window issues. The experience also came in handy with the rear passenger door on my black gtp when the regulator kicked the bucket.

All in all after my brother picked up the new window it was about a 10 minute project thanks to my brother for not putting the screws back into the door panel from the last time we had it apart.

I cleaned the inside out. I didn't get to get it as clean as I wanted because I got a call about to go shoot with my cousin's, but it's still pretty clean. I'll have to wash it another day. I also finally got my spark plug change 100% complete.

After we were done shooting (and after I "broke" my 9mm) we plastidipped the roof on my cousin's A4. The plastidip is only temporary. He wants to two tone the car when he gets it painted this summer and just wants to make sure he is going to like it first.

Left my cousin's and went to my brother's when he mentioned wanting to put his new headlight bulbs in his truck. After yet another adventure I found myself saying F^CK YOU GM ENGINEERS! You have to damn near tear the whole front end apart to get the bulbs changed on the 07+ Silverados. Stupidest design ever. We did finally get it done, but it sucked.

Yup I know the feeling I've had to change ours a few times luckily enough I was able to get 2 fingers behind them to turn the bulb without having to take anything apart.

That's how the majority of current production cars are, gotta take off the front bumper to replace headlight bulbs.

I agree using it as a drying aid. Makes things that much easier.

It does both. You could use either meguiar's ultimate quik wax or ultimate quik detailer. Both bead and sheet water. Of course ultimate quik wax is more durable. I switch between the two. I use quik wax once a month to avoid wax build up.

Looked at it being dirty and muddy, damn dirt roads. Tail lights keep shorting the blinker bulb out causing it not to work. Gonna grab some clear silicone and go ham untill I get new ones.

I had a chance to try out a new product from Turtle Wax. Someone on autogeek recommended it so I decided to give it a shot. You can pick this up at your local auto parts store. I picked it up at autozone for $15. Comes as a kit with the tire cleaner, gloves, tire applicator and the tire coating. Now this is a completely different product than the black tire coat which is complete trash and a nightmare to remove. This is a tire coating that is supposed to last longer than a traditional tire dressing. The good thing about this one is that it dries to the touch and will not sling. The directions state that adding more coats adds more shine. I did 2 coats. I recommend you wear the gloves or any gloves. It can be hard to remove from your hands. I got a little on one wheel and I used rubbing alcohol to remove it. Do not get it on the paint of the car. I can't comment on durabilty as I have just used it but it still looks good 1 day after I applied it. Depending on how long it lasts we will see if this is a winner from turtle wax like their rinseless wash.

    This is the one.

Tire cleaned with the provided tire cleaner. I used a tire brush that I use to remove any tire dressings.

The guys down at o'rielly's are good boys... Went to get my oil sensor that they had to ship in.. ran me up and i realize that it actually does take a special tool. Could of maybe threw a 1-1/16" socket it on it and could of worked maybe.. but so i asked the guy if they had a lender set that i could borrow since the tool set in my car was a 1/4" drive and i needed 1/2" for the big ass socket for it.. but they guy said.. well they are a special socket actually and they are right here... so i asked.. can i just quick use it and throw this new sensor i bought from you guys in for like 3 mins and he said.. well no.. you gotta buy it first.. so on the way to the counter i pulled out the plug price tag thing or whatever and he just goes.. "oh.. well you got it out.. just go use it quick.." went and threw the new sensor in.. brought the socket back in.. through the tag plug back on.. good as new.. threw it back on the shelf and left.. great day.. no more check light and still 10 bucks in my wallet.
