Because that`s usually why just about every grand prix is rusted to ****. Just beaten from all those winter seasons. My point is, these are GM cars, these parts are expensive, and these cars aren`t coming back to the market anytime soon..

Well basically any car you drive in the winter is going to get "beaten". Just drive normal, Mine's been through 11 winters and doesn't have any snow related damage... And parts are relatively cheap btw.
Today I took it through the $2 wash, looks really nice except it doesn't get the inside area of the rims.....AND it's snowing, hard. Wasn't even predicted, guess I caused it.

Get a timken, torque it correctly, and you're good. Speaking of which I'll be doing soon...
My cart. Pricey shipping, I'm going to check amazon's prices.
Same thing in amazon's cart: Even cheaper, before shipping. Amazon is all free shipping (in my cart)

Make sure you get a coupon code before you order, save you over 30 bucks with a 5% off
Navy try to find parts that show from the same warehouse. What I normally do. They actually made a YouTube vid about it

I'm pretty firm on what I want, check again I edited it with amazon. Much cheaper, and still I'll search ebay too and if it's cheaper there I'll get it on ebay.
Just for kicks, advance auto, same thing except moog instead of timken bearings since they don't carry them.
Advance is good for the one part you forgot to buy from rockauto like, tstat gasket lol.
I just hate trying to explain to the guy what part I want. Last time I forgot and asked for coolant elbows, and he showed me a rad hose. So I just gave him the part number.
Yeah..lol. Any coupon code that can get it down to amazon's price? Ehh I don't think so. And pay for my gas to get it lol. If they matched it, I'd get it at advance just because it's supporting local businesses but how much are they making after all that lol.
They could get it to $630??
The part guys at mine are pretty good.
Russosaur--
Just go to an O'Reilly's. They have aluminum coolant elbows in the random parts aisle. Even says "97-05 G.M. 3.8" next to it. Guess enough of us had the plastic elbow problem. You know something was bad when Dorman comes around and makes parts specifically for you
Yeah, and taking your car places to have this replaced not only charges lots of labor on top, but also buys the parts at these prices AND overcharges.
Just checked ebay, only thing cheaper were the LCA's, dropped my final cost to $610.35
Edit: Cost dropped again, found the Sway bar cheaper on ebay. Total is $592.73 for everything, what a steal! Have to post another pic, should I make a how-to buy parts online? lol
