Thread: Help identify styrofoam damper insert

Can anyone identify where (or if) this styrofoam damper insert goes in my 1999 GP GT (4-door)?

It has part # 10257786

I know it doesn't go in the rear doors. I have replaced all 4 window regulators in this car so it could be from the front doors but I don't want to open up the panel to find out.

It could be. Honestly I'd just wait until your front regulator breaks again and check then. I know my 2000 doesn't have it up front but I could have tossed it years ago since I've been through a few regulators.

Youre not kidding! I've replaced 5 regulators on this car. Actually, I thought the 5th one was bad and ordered a new one. But it turned out to be a bad switch. I was actually able to disassemble the switch, clean the oxidation from the contacts, and get it working again!
