I have a 2007 Grand Prix with a 3800 V6. I took it in to have it be checked because of none starting in cold weather. One problem they found was with the PCV tube which is on top of the intake tube after the mass air flow sensor and goes to the intake manifold. But the PCV valve is on the other side of the engine under the MAP sensor. How does this version of a PCV valve work. I have not looked at one in over a decade. They used to go from the intake to the top of the valve cover with the valve in between. Where does this version connect with the crankcase and what is this tube suppose to do?
