As the title describes, is there any reason this won't work? I have a 2001 Venture with a very blown motor, but same tranny. Would like to position 4 floor jacks under the subframe and lower it, lift the body, and roll the whole subframe out from under to facilitate removal of the tranny. And do essentially the same with my 9gpgt to effect the swap.

Initially I wanted to put my 3800 II in the venture. Need to learn more about how readily that can happen maybe.
