'08 base model. not every time, but a few times over the last 2 months, while driving the power has cut out for a split second. headlights, dash lights, stereo, everything. it happens so quick i dont know if the engine dies. its like flipping a wall switch for a light off the back on pretty quick. tach and speedometer do its startup jump, the display in the dash goes through its start up thing, and seat belt dinger dings like on start up.
i havent done any digging more than cleaning the battery terminal so far and hopin i might get some things to look at.

check the small grounds on the trans bell housing, same place the neg cable bolts to. the wires start to break off the eyelets, you hit a bump and the wires move and power drops and comes back.

its very likely the ignition switch.
if you have more than a couple keys and fob on your keychain, remove em, the less weight the less likely it is to happen

update:
finally had warm enough weather to get my baby on jack stands, do some other work, and check out grounds.
i put new pos and neg terminals on the battery as they had been used and abused plus checked the ground on the trans. removed the paint on the trans, cleaned up the ground terminals, put it back together, have driven about 500 miles, and havent had the issue return so far.
