I am wondering what kind of fog lights are my fellow 97-03er's running or recommending these days?
My 2nd pair of pilot cyberwhites have crapped the bucket & I guess they don't make the blazertechs anymore. I just don't want any halos

How’s that working out as far as the housings holding up? I was one of those who accidentally melted his stock foglight housings. That was about 14-15 years ago.

Maybe check out Hella Optilux lights. Was looking at a set for my 95 Bonne. Still have my set of Blazertech's on the GP and will keep them until I can't repair them anymore.

I was able to score a brand new set of Blazertech 2200s. Cost a little less than getting new Cyberwhites so I figured I would give those a shot this time around.

Those lights are some nice work Bronco Boy I saw them in the classifieds section awhile ago, however they are over my budget & I want to avoid HID as my remote flashers are routed to the parking lights.

Btw too many Ford people in this thread, I owning two myself lol

Sweet, you should like those lights. Just do everyone a favor and aim them please! I can't stand getting blinded by some aftermarket lights. It's great that YOU can see, but if the rest of us can't then I'll just file that on the accident report

No shame on owning the Fords, lol. My Vic's have been one of the most reliable cars I've owned. RWD, huge trunk, V8 (albeit anemic at best in stock form) and a frame.

I will definitely take the time to aim them. I'm sure I'll be able to get a little more useable light out of the blazertechs as the cyberwhites have no bulb diffuser inside so I had to aim them more downward.

I've been happy with my Fords. I'm on my 2nd Fusion now both have been very reliable. I also have an older Exploder with over 200k. I did have to get the trans rebuilt on it back in the fall. Other than that & wheel bearings (both common on these) its been good to me

He-he. I had a few Fords, then a Pontiac, and now a Mazda that is mostly Ford. I guess it was meant to be.

Little side by side comparison between the old & new lights. I didn’t realize how dull looking the cyberwhites have become, but I think a lot of that is the xpel film. The Blazers I went with lamin-x this time around with the universal round 3.75” film. Not quite as thick at the xpel but still thick enough to offer protection

Not sure if you're still looking for suggestions, but I'm running square offroad LED's (4 or 6 per side) with modified brackets to fit stock location and mounts. They were cheap and easy to fit up, infinitely better than my worn out factory buckets with LED bulbs.

Thank you onxy. I ended up finding a set of the discontinued Blazertech 2200's, but maybe this thread will be a good resource for anyone else looking for new fogs

For what it's worth, this is what it looks like. ignore the highway/previous owner carnage.
