Other than a pick n pull, where do you guys go to replace your interior trim pieces? I've got a couple of interior bits on my '99 that could stand to be replaced after years of use and I wasn't sure if there was a place that sold restoration parts or if you just had to find someone who was parting out a car or stumble upon NOS on eBay or something.

Well, I ended up looking up the OEM part numbers of gmpartsdirect.com and think I've found what I need on eBay for now but still would be nice to know if there is a source for new (OEM or repop) parts for these cars. I've had a lot of chevy trucks over the years and there are a lot of places you can go for this but for these Grand Prix's (an other makes/models of this body style) the pickin's seem to be slim for interior and exterior parts.

The only places I've seen parts is gmpartsdirect.com, gmpartsgiant.com, and gmpartsonline.net. There isn't a huge following for this body style that makes people want to repop parts and it's too new to be a "classic".

I know you said "other than pick 'n' pull", but honestly that's by far the easiest way to get parts for me. It's hard finding interior parts that are in good condition at the junkyard, but it's doable if you get to them before everybody else does. The one thing I need to replace that I haven't had good luck with are the steering wheel controls.

Other than that, eBay is pretty much my go-to for parts.

Thanks for the feedback, man. My only issue is my local pick n pulls are not the best and seems like most vehicles are picked over before they even make it to the yard. I get what you’re saying, tho. I just keep searching anywhere and every where

Forgot one--> carpart.com I've sourced quite a few things from there that were at a good price point.

That's the tough part with junkyards, everything is luck of the draw. I've picked out cars to pull the supercharger off of, only to go back a few days later to see the car completely gone. There's another pick and pull lot in Omaha that doesn't seem to get near as much foot traffic and doesn't appear to move their inventory the way the others do, but their inventory also isn't quite as big as the U-Pull-It lots.

Is there anything specific you need? I kind of like salvage yard hunting, and I wouldn't mind looking around for parts for people to save them some money.
