    I'd go LS6 intake over the truck intake in a car application.

    Then of course a custom tune is required.

    I will have tuned. Running custom tune now. Why ls6 over the tbss?

    For one the TBSS intake doesn't fit, unless you want to hack stuff up and redo a bunch of things to make it work.

    You need to use a different truck intake from an older model, 99-07 GEN 3 style.

    I guess it depends on how you want it to perform. The truck intakes should create slightly more torque and less horsepower based on there desgin and the car intake will make more mid range and high rpm horsepower because of the short better flowing runners.

    Either intake be it the LS2/LS6 or the truck intake will require doing custom work to make everything fit. LS1 tech has tons of information on this stuff in the LS4 section.

    The ls6 manifolds are still going for crazy money! I sold mine with ported throttle body for $300 years ago. $400+ seems to be the going rate on ls1tech. I'd check local Craigslist or a yard.
