Alright so I tried to fill my car up with gas and it was almost on E the light was on. Shortly after turning the pump on it started pumping really slow. I tried pulling the nozzle out a little bit and it would still go really slow. Then shortly after putting in about 2 gallons gas started leaking everywhere from what seems to be the filler neck not venting properly. The other day I had no problem putting in a full tank of gas at what would be the normal speed of the gas pump. I tried different angles with the nozzle and all that.

Gremlins always seem to show up in pairs, or groups of three with our cars...

Same thing happened on my 99 Trans Am. Get a thick tube of some sort and stick it in the gas tank through the filler neck. Solved it for me.

If nothing is damaged, you probably just need to let more time pass between removing the cap and inserting the nozzle, particularly when fuel level is low. Open the cap, pay, then start filling. Don't open and immediately jam the nozzle in. When near empty of liquid, its full of vapor and takes a moment to vent.
All Grand Prix, all the time. 69 Model J, 99 GT & GTP coupes. All junk, haha.
